Katz Tax Seminars was formed in 1993 in order to provide accountants, attorneys and financial planners with continuing professional education in the areas of Federal and New York State Taxation. We provide updates which disseminate the latest tax legislation, cases and rulings that affect the preparation of Federal and New York State Individual Income Tax Returns as well as Corporate, Partnership and Trust returns.
In addition, we give courses which assist professionals in the following areas:
-
Tax Audits and Appeals
-
Tax Collection Process
-
Estate and Gift Taxation – including preparation of the respective returns
-
Estate and Gift Planning Opportunities
-
Business Agreements including discussions of both the tax and legal aspects thereof
The seminars are conducted in Nassau and Suffolk counties and all seminars are presented by Robert Katz and Neil Katz.
We also run a two-day Annual Tax Symposium which provides accountants with 16 hours of continuing professional education credits. The topics presented cover all aspects of Federal and New York State Taxation, Estate and Gift Tax Planning and Business Agreements and Planning. The Symposium also features a “round-table” discussion of practice issues facing accountants. Included in the 16 CPE credits is 1.5 hours of ethics.
Katz Tax Seminars will be providing webinars on important tax issues as they arise.
