
ROBERT KATZ, J.D., LL.M., is the Chaykin Distinguished Professor of Taxation, Zarb School of Business, Hofstra University and the former Director of the Graduate Tax Program. He is a recipient of the Hofstra University Distinguished Teaching Award. Professor Katz was a contributing editor for the CCH Federal Tax Course and was the directing editor of Tax Law for McKinney's Forms Tax Practice and Procedure. He has also written articles for professional journals such as Journal Of Taxation, The CPA Journal, Taxation For Accountants and Taxation For Lawyers. Professor Katz has chaired and lectured extensively before professional groups such as the New York State Bar Association, the National Conference of CPA Practitioners and the Financial Planners Association. He was an I.R.S. Field Agent and Conferee. He is a Senior Partner in the law firm of Katz, Bernstein & Katz, LLP.
